Resident Physiotherapist
Brijesh obtained his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario following the completion of his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at York University. Brijesh is registered and is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario as a Resident Physiotherapist and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Brijesh’s practice philosophy is based on the biopsychosocial model and education which he incorporates in his treatments in addition to manual therapy, exercise, and more. He is a firm believer in patient empowerment through education, early return to activity & self management of pain resulting in increased function and quality of life. As a physiotherapist, Brijesh utilizes an array of manual therapy skills such as soft tissue release, cupping therapy, joint mobilizations and functional rehabilitation training to help his patients achieve their functional goals.
Outside of work, Brijesh likes to enjoy spending quality time with family, playing sports such as basketball and baseball, and trying different kinds of food.
